It’s nice to hear about those few who make their dreams come true, in spite of their hectic works or on going diverse career. Here comes, Harshika a cute babe of Sandalwood, who made it big in education too. As per the sources available with NBTV, it is rare to find heroines finishing their education successfully after making it big in cine industry. But, the pretty actress Harshika Poonacha has managed both her studies and cinema together, very efficiently. As heard, Harshika Poonacha has completed her studies in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics division). Recently, she messages proudly in her SMS claiming that she is an Engineer now.
This cute Coorgi girl from Ammathi, being the only daughter of UB Poonacha and UP Shambavi, was given a pretty childhood in the start. Harshika was documented as an all rounder in Jubilee School. Maintaining high records in her extracurricular activities like Dancing, singing, sports and acting, Harshika even managed to be the best in studies too by scoring 92 % in SSLC. After scoring 80 % in her II PUC studies at Christ College, Harshika Poonacha then joined for engineering studies in Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Now, she has completed her engineering degree successfully.
In the past four years of engineering, it was tough for me to manage both my filmy career and engineering studies. But I managed both” says Harshika Poonacha, with a joy.
Harshika made her filmy debut with film 'PUC' Kannada cinema in 2008 and later got some pretty offers in over half a dozen films. She appeared as a sister to hattrick hero Shivarajakumar in his ‘Thamassu’ a debut direction of Agni Sridhar. She proved her acting skills with movies like ‘Jugari’, ‘Murali Meets Meera’, ‘Naariya Seere Kaddha’ which were well received. Now, she has completed her ongoing films ‘Adwaitha’ and ‘Pari’. Interestingly, Harshika also had a stint in Telugu, Konkani and Tulu movies. All the best to you Harshika.
